Trustees have been recruited who already have wide experience of building and maintaining excellence in the operations of many successful organisations, in financial and human resource management, strategic planning and in networking with peer and supportive organisations.

Sanil Modessa

Sanil is a determined team player with extensive experience and excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.

He has the ability to communicate effectively with clients to discover the exact concern and then correcting the problem to the customer’s satisfaction, and following up with clients to provide complete service and make sure all concerns have been addressed.
 
Enjoys working with people and as part of the team or as an individual and to be an effective representative of the establishment.
 
Is quick to grasp new ideas and concepts, and to communicate efficiently. Able to work well on my own initiative and can demonstrate the high levels of motivation required to meet the tightest of deadlines.

​Has excellent interpersonal skills, phone manner, office etiquette, as well as analysing and coordinating activities.

Mark Gifford

Mark is the Director of the ASHA Centre, a British educational charity and retreat centre
 
ASHA provides opportunities and a space for young people from around the world to experience inspiration, connection and purpose. Its does so through its four-fold educational model which brings together community, land and arts-based activities with an approach that engages head, heart and hands
 
Mark has a Masters (Distinction) in Theology and is a qualified solicitor. He studied at the Universities of Durham, Oxford and London before joining the charitable sector. He is also an ordained ‘interfaith’ minister and has a counselling diploma
 
His main loves are his wife and son but is also passionate about the Forest of Dean, classical music and the religious traditions of India and Iran.

Deepak Naik, Executive Director

Deepak has over 40 years of experience in the community and voluntary sector. He is currently the Chair of the Board of United Religion Initiative (UK).  He is a Board Member of URI (Europe) since its inception and the European Network on Religion and Belief.

Working with others:

– to help create opportunities that transform lives,

– to help design and deliver projects and services that have a lasting and positive impact,

– to help incubate and maintain harmony between people and communities from different cultures, beliefs and backgrounds thereby,

– promote conditions that help the business to grow, flourish and generate prosperity for all – prosperity that is shared and enjoyed with dignity, in hope and shanti.
